THE SCOOTER FLIP:修理・販売・自立のための2日間ワークショップ
「停滞している子どもたちへ—もう一度、動き出す時だ。」
スクーター・フリップは、千葉県香取市で開催される週末集中型の実践プログラムです。教科書も「作業のための作業」もありません。13歳から18歳の子どもたちを工房に連れて行き、レンチを手渡し、壊れたガラクタを誰かがお金を払ってでも欲しがる動く機械へと変える方法を教えます。
停滞した子のための道筋:このプログラムは「非伝統的」な学習者のために特別に設計されています。お子さんが不登校だったり、学校から離れていたり、勢いを失っている場合、私たちは別の種類の教室を提供します。自信は成績からではなく、工具を使い、エンジンが再び咆哮する瞬間から生まれると信じています。私たちの目標は、これらの子どもたちに具体的な「勝利」を与えることです。機械を使いこなすことで、社会への次の一歩を踏み出す勇気を持ってもらいたい—まずは外に出る自信から始め、そして日本の原付免許試験を受けに行く意欲を植え付けたいと考えています。注:このコースは免許試験の合格方法を教えるものではありません。
習得する実践的スキル:
「ガラクタ」を見抜く目:他人がゴミと見なすものの中にダイヤモンドを見つけ、チャンスを掴む方法を学ぶ。
メカニカル・グリット(機械的根性):エンジンの「三位一体」(点火・圧縮・燃焼)を理解し、死んだ金属に命を吹き込む。
ハスルの技術:実社会のビジネス。部品の予算管理とデジタル販売の習得。メルカリ、ヤフオク、ジモティーで売れる広告写真の撮り方と説明文の書き方、または自分のウェブサイトの作成。
運転テスト:スロットルとバランスの基本的な紹介。これは運転学校ではなく、運転席に座る自信を持つためのものです。
キャンプの3本柱
修理(REPAIR):消費者であることをやめ、修理者になる。機械が壊れている理由を突き止め、動かす。
転売(FLIP):学校が教えない実践的な「ビジネス101」。部品コストと最終販売価格を計算する。本物のお金のための本物の数学。
実証(PROOF OF CONCEPT):作業が終わったらテストする。私有地で、生徒たちは基本的な操縦を行い、修理が確実であることを確認する—本物の免許取得に向けた小さいが重要な一歩。
週末スケジュール
土曜日:分解
10:00:到着&作戦会議。安全第一、工具は二番目。
11:30:点検。自分のスクーターを選ぶ。なぜ動かない?どう直す?
13:30:分解作業。エンジンの内部に潜る。キャブレターを掃除し、手を汚す。
16:30:検索。ノートパソコンを使って部品を探し、利益を計算。ここからハスルが始まる。
18:00:BBQ&ベースキャンプ。夕食、英会話、そして地位より技術を重視する人々との交流。
日曜日:組み立て
09:00:再組み立て。すべてを元に戻す。真実の瞬間:エンジンは火を噴くか?
13:30:仕上げ&テスト。バイクを磨き、販売用写真を撮影。敷地内で低速の基本テストを行い、修理が成功したことを確認。
15:30:成果。完成品を見る。機械を直せるなら、自分の道も切り開けると気づく。

THE SCOOTER FLIP: A 2-Day Workshop in Fixing, Selling, and Self-Reliance
"For the kids who have stalled out—it's time to get things moving again."
The Scooter Flip is a weekend-long, hands-on intensive in Katori, Chiba. We don't do textbooks, and we don't do "busy work." We take kids (ages 13–18) out to a workshop, hand them a wrench, and show them how to turn a broken piece of junk into a working machine that someone will actually pay money for.
A Path for the Stalled: This program is specifically designed for the "non-traditional" learner. If your child has been truant, out of school, or has lost their momentum, we offer a different kind of classroom. We believe that confidence doesn't come from a grade—it comes from using tools and the roar of an engine coming back to life. Our goal is to give these kids a tangible "win." By mastering the machine, we hope to encourage them to take that next step back into society—starting with the confidence to go out and hopefully instill the motivation to go out and take the Japanese scooter license test. Note: this course is not about how to pass the license test.
The Real-World Skills They'll Master:
The "Junk" Hunter's Eye: Learning how to spot a diamond in the rough and find opportunity where others see trash.
Mechanical Grit: Understanding the "Holy Trinity" of engines (Spark, Compression, Combustion) to bring dead metal back to life.
The Art of the Hustle: Real-world business. Budgeting for parts and mastering digital sales. How to take advertising photos and write an ad that sells on Mercari, Yahoo Auction, Jmty or create their own website.
Operational Testing: A basic introduction to throttle and balance. It's not a riding school; it's about the confidence of being in the driver's seat.
The 3 Pillars of the Camp
REPAIR: Stop being a consumer. Become a fixer. We figure out why the machine is broken and we make it run.
FLIP: This is the practical "Business 101" school leaves out. We calculate the cost of parts vs. the final sale price. Real math for real money.
PROOF OF CONCEPT: Once the work is done, we test it. On our private grounds, students perform basic maneuvers to ensure their repair is solid—a small but vital step toward earning a real license.
The Weekend Breakdown
Saturday: Tear it Down
10:00: Arrival & The Game Plan. Safety first, tools second.
11:30: The Audit. Pick your scooter. Why is it dead? What's the fix?
13:30: The Teardown. Diving into the guts of the engine. Cleaning the carb and getting our hands dirty.
16:30: The Search. Using laptops to hunt for parts and calculate profit. This is where the hustle starts.
18:00: BBQ & Basecamp. Dinner, English conversation, and hanging out with people who value skills over status.
Sunday: Build it Up
09:00: The Rebuild. Putting it all back together. The moment of truth: Does the engine fire?
13:30: The Launch & The Test. Detailing the bike and taking sales photos. We'll perform basic low-speed testing on-site to confirm the repair is successful.
15:30: The Payoff. Looking at the finished product. Realizing that if you can fix a machine, you can fix your path forward.
