The Base is a private rider’s house hidden in the mountains. It is a real-life, offline version of your favorite closed motorcycle Facebook group — except everyone sleeping under the same roof actually wants to ride, eat, and talk bikes, and disappear from the internet for a while.

We pick one perfect region and suggest unknown gems, onsen, coastal blast, and coffee stop inside a 2-hour radius. You don’t need to ride 800 km in a day to “see Japan.” You just need the right base camp.
